U.S. Pave completed an asphalt overlay at The Seagate Country Club in Delray Beach.

An overlay places a completely new asphalt surface over an existing lot. Where site conditions allow it, it is considerably less expensive than full reconstruction and — the part that mattered most to this client — most overlay projects are completed in days.

For a private club, time on site is the real cost. Members expect the property to function. Choosing overlay over reconstruction traded a small amount of theoretical service life for a dramatically shorter disruption, which was the right trade here.
