Who we serve

Schools & Universities

Campus paving executed in the windows you actually have — summer break, spring break, and overnight.

What makes this property type different

  • Work windows are fixed by the academic calendar and cannot slip
  • Bus loops and drop-off zones concentrate heavy repetitive loading
  • Student pedestrian traffic crosses vehicle routes constantly
  • Public bidding and procurement requirements often apply

Campus work is scheduling work. The window is whatever the academic calendar allows, it does not move, and everything has to be back in service before students return.

Hitting the window

We plan campus projects backwards from the reopening date with contingency for weather built in. If a scope cannot be completed safely inside the available window, we say so during bidding rather than discovering it in week three.

Bus loops and drop-off

These fail faster than the rest of a campus. Buses are heavy, they follow exactly the same path every day, and they stand still while loading. That combination rutts asphalt that would otherwise last for years. Many bus loops are better served by concrete at the standing areas.

Pedestrian conflict

Campuses have more pedestrian-vehicle crossing than almost any property type. Clear, current, high-visibility marking at crossings is among the cheapest safety interventions available.

Questions we get from Schools & Universities clients

Can you finish inside our summer window?

That is the core of campus planning, and we schedule backwards from the reopening date with weather contingency built in. If a scope cannot be completed safely inside the available window, we say so during bidding rather than in week three.

Why does our bus loop fail before the rest of the campus?

Buses are heavy, they follow exactly the same path every day, and they stand still while loading. That combination ruts asphalt that would otherwise last for years. Many bus loops are better served by concrete at the standing areas.
