BrandStar Corporate — Featured on Office Spaces

U.S. Pave completed a parking lot demolition and remodel at the BrandStar corporate building, featured in a segment of Lifetime Network’s Office Spaces that aired on 27 June 2016.

The project was a full rebuild rather than a resurfacing. Scope included lot levelling, correction of water flow, an extended curb, removal and replacement of unsuitable soil, new asphalt placement, and sealcoating — with city compliance requirements addressed as part of the design.

Rebuilding rather than overlaying was the right call here because the existing lot had grade and drainage problems that no surface treatment would have resolved. Correcting the flow of water across the site was the substance of the project; the new asphalt was the visible result of it.
